Greenhouse General Labor | City Floral Golden Greenhouses

Position helping manage plant production needs in wholesale nursery setting.

Tasks include:

• Lifting, carrying, and transporting merchandise between receiving stations, warehouse and production areas
• Driving industrial vehicles to transfer materials.
• Operating manual equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
• Maintaining vehicles and material handling equipment in safe and good working condition.
• Load trucks according to need and delivery location. Organize product on docks for truck loading
• Unload truck deliveries and Inspect merchandise to identify any damages.
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Water and maintain plant health.
• Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Mange housekeeping activities when requested.
• Collect and dispose garbage and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Teamwork and Communication skills – good verbal communication and ability to work on a team to coordinate and effectively complete activities during a shift
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to work in all Greenhouse conditions

• Must be able to work with repetitive motion
• Must be able to stand/or walk for at least an 8-hour period
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs, and push/pull racks on wheels of 100lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• All applicants must have reliable transportation, must be dependable, work weekends, over time and 6 day a week when required

Other:

• $15/Hr

• This is a permanent, full-time position. Applicants must be 18 or older. Please do not apply if you are currently a high school student.
