Mint, basil, AND thyme are having a moment in this garden-fresh take on the classic margarita. Gather up your cocktail shaker and your favorite margarita glasses and read on!

Ingredients:

4 ounces (120 ml) high-quality reposado tequila

2 ounces (60 ml) triple sec

1.5 ounces (45 ml) fresh lime juice

Lime wedge

1 Tbsp coarse salt (for rim)

Pinch of salt

4-5 fresh mint leaves, plus extra to garnish

3 fresh basil leaves, plus extra to garnish

1 fresh thyme sprig, plus extra to garnish

Ice

 

To Make:

      1. Fill a small plate with coarse salt.
  1. Run a lime wedge around the outer rims of 2 margarita glasses. Dip the rims in salt. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, 4-5 mint leaves, 3 basil leaves, and thyme sprig. Fill with ice. Shake well until chilled.
  3. Fill your prepared glasses with fresh ice and strain the margarita into both glasses. Garnish with extra herb sprigs and enjoy!
