HOW TO GROW Aglaonema HOUSEPLANTs
Aglaonema houseplants or know by another name ‘Chinese Evergreen,’ can grow almost anywhere in your home. Aglaonemas are slow-growing, attractive, and make excellent foliage plants. It will tolerate low-light and grows well in bright spots. In fact, it doesn’t even need natural light and will do just fine in offices with fluorescent lighting. Keep soil evenly moist, and your aglaonema will be happy.
Aglaonema houseplants like bright, indirect light to low light. This plant will also grow well under fluorescent lighting, making it an ideal office plant.
Water thoroughly, then allow the top 2 inches of the soil surface to dry out a bit before watering again. Do not overwater as this will cause root rot.
Aglaonema houseplants love any good-quality houseplant potting mix. A well-draining potting is ideal for this plant to ensure the water collect anywhere in the soil.

From spring through summer, feed monthly with a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer, using half the recommended amount. Do not fertilize during the winter because the plant is dormant.

Aglaonema houseplants like average warmth between 65-75°. These plants do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 65 degrees. Be sure to keep it away from drafty windows or vents, and the warmer the spot you can find, the better.
Aglaonema plants don’t need a lot of humidity. They are good with average to high humidity if the plant needs more humidity mist occasionally or place the pot on a tray of moist pebbles.

Like most houseplants, aglaonema plants are mildly toxic if eaten. They may cause some discomfort and vomiting when eaten. Keep away from animals and children.
